some bone chilling music
So, I have this teensy obsession with mixtapes. I happened to stumble across a user on 8tracks who creates gorgeous and haunting mixtapes, and quite a few of theme would suit our theme. Here are some of my favorites!

troubles and the dark turn of mind
between the shadow and the soul
until we ourselves are ghosts

And a few videos:
Come Little Children - Erutan/katethegreat19
Gravedigger's Faire - ShyTooShy
Devil of Mine - The Moulettes (This one isn't exactly "bone chilling" but it's an awesome song.)
The Widow's Tea (short film)

Ok so I watched the videos--

Come little children: Ballin! I have always adored the movie Hocus Pocus since i was very small, and I'd run around singing Mary's song. This version was more chilling and I love it!

Gravedigger's faire: actually pretty haunting. I wish that the sound was a little more professionally done, but the lyrics were amazing! :)

Devil of mine: OH MY GOD WHERE HAS THIS VIDEO BEEN ALL MY LIFE!?! I wasn't sure I liked it at first, but the more I listened the more I was like @.@... soooo awesome. I want that rag doll dress too fyi XD

The widow's tea: actually pretty awesome for a student film. I still dot know what the hell they were really talking about on the voice-over and why the tea dude was really there but other than that... SWEET!

Now away to bed I go! I gotta get ready to cut up dead things tomorrow. How's that for bone-chilling? :D

I think with the Gravedigger's Faire the music just ending up overpowering her voice. Her other songs are much better in quality. :D

The voiceover for the Widow's Tea was actually a poem from Emilie Autumn's audiobook Your Sugar Sits Untouched. No idea which one, though. XD
